Open mics are FREE shows to the public. Anyone can submit to signup by Tuesday at midnight each week.

Each comedian gets 5 minutes of stage time. There's a clock in the back — don't go over.
Open mics are free for performers and audiences. Submit by Tuesday at midnight to be considered.
The sign-up sheet will be available at 7:30PM (30 minutes before showtime.) The names will then be added to a bucket to be randomly chosen to perform on stage throughout the show. There will be at least 12 drawn spots to get up and do 3 minute sets.
Before you grab the mic, please take a moment to read and respect the following rules:
Be respectful of the audience, other comics, and staff. No racial slurs, hate speech, or excessively vulgar content will be tolerated.
Do not perform under the influence. If you appear impaired, we reserve the right to remove you from the lineup.
Keep it clean — no smoking or vaping inside the building or within 25 feet of the building at any time.
The Riot Houston operates inside a hotel — please be considerate of hotel guests, staff, and bar employees at all times. Treat the space like it's your own.
You have 5 minutes for your set. We will not "light" you. Don't start a new joke after your time is up. If you go over, we'll play music and cut the mic.
